The pre-pandemic decision on Medical College and Hospital design has significantly impacted the pandemic scenario. Because these institutions served as the primary backbone in the fight against COVID-19, the spatial design decisions made by these institutions significantly impacted the value and COVID susceptibility. Sir Salimullah Medical College, Rangpur Medical College, and M. Abdur Rahim Medical College will be compared.

Findings:

Since the globe has witnessed the effects of such a large viral pandemic, it is necessary to adapt to a new approach to health care design in order to have a smooth post-pandemic future. Many end users are reconsidering the post-pandemic built environment in terms of flexibility and maintenance protocol design, as well as the concerns involved. Our case studies shed light on the future of hospitals and related institutions, as well as how these spaces might be regenerated and restored using design resiliency principles. However, this approach will reshape the healthcare environment because the key distinction between this location and others is that it must be open during the epidemic, with work-from-home options available in office spaces. According to the Italian medical journal Acta Biomedica, resilience is one of the most essential problems that will assist the hospital structure in dealing with emergency demands, which may arrive at a quick rate at times or may not be required at all. Hospital and institution occupants will always benefit from resilience design, and this approach can adapt to dealing with and averting future health problems by incorporating all tactics and methodologies. Our findings will motivate us to design a resilient healthcare environment that takes important factors into account.
